REST-OF-LIFE believes that mobile health technologies may improve post-operative care for patients who do not have easy access to physicians, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our potential users of the application are interested and willing to implement mHealth technologies in their lives.
Customer Problem
People with post-implantation surgery, for example, rarely get priority access to places of outdoor exercise and public gyms, and thousands of people deprived of their satisfactory adaptation to new life. And the rest of life will be like that, with new body parts, new style of activities, new rules of daily engagement.
They will be required to recover at home, so it is important that they understand what they will need in their home after that procedure. Another important component of post-op recovery is physical activity. So the patients have to practice using the affected body part to get it back into routine use. If they follow that physical therapy regimen as directed by specialists, they can strengthen the affected body parts and prevent future problems. That's why we selected a name for our Mobile Application - Rest-of-Life.
Our application includes electronic health records (EHR) and supports data exchange between patients and practitioners while integrating wearable technologies to keep track of the user’s health condition after surgeries. This innovative idea is designed to arrange, organize and support patient’s recovery.
